Fall Felted Bag Exchange

Questionnaire
Okay so here’s the questionnaire for this round! Please post this on your blog no later than August 27th! Keep in mind that the more complete you are, the more it helps your pal begin to get to know you and make a bag that you'll truly enjoy!
How long have you been knitting or crocheting? How did you learn? or from whom?
Approximately 40 years, I had an aunt that gave me little hexagon cardboard boxes of knitting things every Christmas, they contained maybe 6 or 12 feet of each of three colors of yarn.. After a few years I taught myself.
What was your first felted object, and why did you decide to try felting?
Actually it was a bag I made this past Novemeber for an exchange.

I had two or three items knit and ready to be felted just had never done it.
What are your favorite colors? Any you hate?
Purples, burgundy, greens, jewelish tones this time of year. Not a big pastels person.
What are your favorite styles\types of bags? (Long straps? Short handles? Handbags? Totes? Embellished? Plain? Include links to patterns or photos if you’d like – give your pal an idea of what you enjoy!)
Oh boy..I love Noni and received quite a lovely one I use every day..
I like when the straps are felted and part of the knitting. Some embellishment is fine. I will include links later.
What handbag or bag are you carrying today? Do you use a separate bag to carry your knitting?
I use the Noni a lot and a striped felted tote I received from a pal, it is lovely and large.
My handbag is a black leather although I did just get a Maruca.
I love this bag though, truly I do...
What other things do you enjoy knitting or crocheting?
Aran, Fair Isle, stranded, lace, you name it
What sort of needles do you enjoy working with? (straights vs circs, bamboo vs aluminum)
I really like circs but am enjoying tremendously some retro straights I received in a swap, actually it was Monkey Sock Swap 2 they are glorious.

What’s one project you’ve not yet tried but are dying to make?

I've used just about all of them...
What other hobbies do you have? Do you spin? Sew? Garden?
No spinning, sewing, any crafting, no gardening
Besides yarn, do you collect anything?
Mr Potato Heads, Eiffel Towers, antique glass
What kind of goodies do you enjoy? Sweets? Salty? Anything you hate or are allergic to?
I will pass on this question, I don't need any sweets.

Leaves changing color, I was married November 24 beautiful fall wedding and honeymooned in Maine.

Buy DSs and GF and DH new cars, pay inlaws rent for a few years,build a house in Maine and open a yarn store
